Job Title: CNC Press Brake Operator

Position Summary
The CNC Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components in accordance with engineering drawings, production schedules, and quality standards. This role ensures safe, accurate, and efficient production while meeting company and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Read and interpret prints, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accurate production.
• Prepare and set up proper tooling and fixtures as required for each job.
• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines according to work orders and prints.
• Load programs into CNC machines accurately to meet job specifications.
• Start machines, monitor operations, and record data to ensure proper program performance.
• Verify the accuracy of parts during and after production.
• Maintain machinery, tools, equipment, and the work area in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Form parts on Farnham rollers and other forming equipment as required.
• Handle vinyl aluminum sheets safely and accurately.
• Inspect, measure, or test completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, and rulers.
• Identify and implement solutions to correct any quality issues with completed parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production and team goals.
Qualifications and Experience
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• At least one year of relevant manufacturing or CNC/press brake experience preferred.
• Ability to make decisions independently and multitask effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong commitment to safety in the workplace.
• Good organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer and word processing skills.
Work Environment:
Work is performed under in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to dust, fumes, noise, vibration, heat and cold may occur. Position requires constant standing throughout the shift.
