This role is a key technical security position focused on strengthening enterprise-wide cybersecurity across a global, cloud-first organization. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing security controls that protect endpoints, SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, and user environments at scale. The position requires deep expertise in modern security tooling and frameworks, with a strong focus on detection engineering, endpoint protection, and data loss prevention. You will collaborate closely with engineering, IT, and business teams to translate security requirements into actionable technical controls while ensuring a seamless user experience in a remote-first environment. This is a hands-on engineering role with significant ownership over security platforms such as EDR, CASB, SWG, and ZTNA. The environment is fast-paced, globally distributed, and highly innovative, requiring both technical depth and strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Act as the subject matter expert for Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, optimizing configurations, tuning detection rules, and improving endpoint and cloud security posture.
- Configure, manage, and enhance security controls across SWG, CASB, and ZTNA platforms while supporting secure and seamless user access.
- Improve SaaS security posture using SSPM tools, resolving configuration drift and collaborating with application owners across enterprise systems.
- Design and enforce policies for enterprise browsers, third-party OAuth applications, and SaaS integrations to ensure compliance and security standards.
- Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across endpoints, cloud, network, and SaaS environments aligned with global regulatory requirements.
- Support vulnerability management programs, ensuring timely patching and remediation across endpoints and servers.
- Conduct continuous security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response across distributed systems and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deploy, optimize, and maintain enterprise security tools and platforms.
- Ensure alignment with security frameworks and best practices such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, MITRE, and SOC standards.
- Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and SIEM tools to analyze security telemetry and improve threat visibility.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise security tools including EDR, SWG, CASB, ZTNA, and DLP solutions.
- Solid understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, MITRE, ISO 27001, and SOC compliance standards.
- Experience implementing and managing security policies across SaaS, endpoint, and cloud environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their security tooling.
- Experience using SIEM platforms to query, analyze, and respond to security telemetry is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and remediate security incidents.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global, distributed environment.
- Experience managing secure email gateways is a plus.
- CISSP or other relevant cybersecurity certifications are a strong advantage.
