This role is a strategic leadership position focused on driving growth and market penetration within assigned corporate and national integrated healthcare accounts. The Director will oversee field sales teams, execute contracts, and lead product launches in a matrixed environment, while mentoring peers and fostering team development. Success in this role requires a blend of commercial acumen, leadership capability, and analytical insight to prioritize opportunities, track performance, and deliver double-digit revenue growth. The position involves managing relationships with multiple stakeholders, identifying market trends, and shaping account strategies to maximize business impact. You will work in a collaborative, high-performance environment where strategic thinking and execution excellence are valued. The role offers exposure to national-level accounts and a chance to influence both team and organizational outcomes.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for assigned National Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) accounts to achieve growth targets.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire field sales teams in a matrixed environment, ensuring alignment and high performance across all account activities.
- Drive new product launches, expand market penetration, and manage contract execution to maximize revenue potential.
- Analyze account performance, market conditions, and opportunities, and prioritize targets for sales strategy execution.
- Track and report on account metrics, identify positive or negative trends, and implement corrective actions or growth initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate across functional teams to resolve conflicts and ensure seamless account management and operational execution.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the medical device or healthcare technology industry.
- Proven leadership and personnel development skills, with experience guiding teams and mentoring colleagues.
- At least 3 years of experience managing national or corporate accounts is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term strategies in both small and large company environments.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to assess market potential and inform account decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees are advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements associated with a sales role.
- US work authorization required; relocation assistance is not provided, and candidates should reside in or near the Mid-Atlantic region.
