Entry Level Community Outreach - $20/hr Guaranteed - Los Angeles, CAWe’re hiring Community Outreach Representatives in Los Angeles to support major nonprofit organizations working on humanitarian, environmental, and social justice campaigns.

This is an entry-level role with paid training, ideal for people interested in nonprofits, advocacy, marketing, communications, community outreach, or public engagement.

No previous experience is required - we’re looking for outgoing people who enjoy talking with others and working in team environments.

What the Job InvolvesOur teams raise funds through face-to-face outreach with members of the public in community spaces and neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles.

Outreach representatives speak with people about nonprofit campaigns and invite them to become monthly supporters.

Public Outreach strongly believes in promoting from within, and many members of our leadership team began their careers in entry-level outreach roles.

ScheduleWe offer shifts Monday to Sunday, and ask that team members commit to at least three full 7-hour shifts per week.

Available shifts

10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (earlier start possible on weekends)

12:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Many team members appreciate that this role can work well alongside auditions, rehearsals, creative projects, and freelance work

What We're Looking ForSuccessful candidates typically demonstrate:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfort speaking with new people

Positive attitude and reliability

Interest in nonprofit or advocacy work

Ability to work outdoors and on their feet

Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, marketing, sales, fundraising, advocacy, volunteering, or other public-facing roles is helpful - but not required.
