About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of aerospace manufacturing technologies. In this role you will be tasked with supporting and improving a variety of manufacturing processes for a growing advanced manufacturing site. As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, you will be challenged to ensure our processes meet our AS9100 and ISO13485 certifications. At ADDMAN you’ll be part of a rapidly growing world class team, commonly interfacing internally with program managers, materials and process engineers, technicians, machinists, and company leadership. This role reports to the Plant Manager.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain and improve the safe working environment on the shop floor and its surrounding areas.
- Translating design requirements into manufacturable processes, supporting prototype builds, and implementing scalable production methods supporting Machining, Additive Manufacturing, Injection Molding, and Assembly departments.
- Working closely with production, quality, and engineering teams, to establish process standards, create and maintain work instructions, and identify opportunities to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance product performance.
- Work with sales and Engineering to assess incoming opportunities for manufacturing requirements, support quoting of internal and external manufacturing costs
- Assess and audit existing processes and product manufacturing
- Maintain quality standards on a day-to-day basis
- Review manufactured products for conformance to customer, supplier, or internal requirements at multiple stages in the manufacturing process i.e. post-print, post heat treat, machining, final inspection, etc.
- Actively participate in team problem solving, process improvement, and decisions
- Over time you may be expected to mentor, teach, and be an engineering technical resource for the organization
- Perform other duties as assigned

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task
- Previous aerospace quality experience
- Mastercam experience up to and including 5-axis programming
- Experience with manufacturing /CNC machining processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- +10 years of working in a manufacturing environment in quality / technical role
- Able to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities to exceed customer expectations
- Works independently, strong work ethic, is self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to work on cross-functional teams to support the core business, ensuring quality products are delivered on time
- Computer aptitude (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
- Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This job operates in a professional additive manufacturing, traditional manufacturing and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as printing equipment, computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
