About This Position
CareCollab is seeking a highly analytical Data & Billing Analyst to support operational performance and revenue cycle management across our Medicaid Health Home and Social Care Network care management programs.
This role will serve as a central data and reporting resource for leadership, responsible for maintaining accurate program data, producing operational and financial reports, and supporting compliant NYS Medicaid billing processes.
As CareCollab continues to grow, this role will play a critical role in helping leadership monitor program performance across enrollment, care manager productivity, and billing capture while ensuring strong data integrity across systems.
The Data & Billing Analyst will work closely with operations, finance, and care management leadership to ensure that program data is accurate, actionable, and aligned with NYS DOH program requirements for both the Health Home and Social Care Network programs. This role is essential to maintaining operational visibility and revenue performance across CareCollab’s Health Home programs. By ensuring accurate program data and supporting compliant billing processes, the Data & Billing Analyst helps leadership monitor performance, improve operational efficiency, and support the continued growth of CareCollab’s services.
The Data & Billing Analyst is responsible for managing operational reporting, analyzing program performance metrics, and supporting billing processes that drive revenue for the organization.
This role supports both our Adult and Children’s Health Home programs, and our Social Care Network program, requiring familiarity with program workflows, documentation standards, and billing eligibility requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Excel and data analysis, comfortable reconciling complex datasets, and able to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
What You’ll Do
Data Management & Reporting
• Maintain and manage operational datasets related to enrollment, caseloads, billing eligibility, and care management productivity across all three programs
• Produce regular operational reports for leadership including census tracking, productivity metrics, outreach status, and billing eligibility reports
• Analyze program data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement
• Develop and maintain standardized reporting processes that improve visibility into program performance
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across internal systems and reporting tools
• Support leadership in interpreting operational data and identifying key performance indicators
Billing & Revenue Cycle Support
• Support Health Home and Social Care Network billing processes
• Maintain and reconcile billing eligibility reports to ensure accurate monthly billing
• Identify members eligible for billing and flag missing documentation or service requirements
• Track billing status and support reconciliation of submitted and paid claims
• Identify missed billing opportunities and support process improvements to maximize revenue capture
Compliance & Data Integrity
• Ensure data and billing processes align with New York State Department of Health Health Home program requirements
• Conduct routine audits of data and documentation supporting billing eligibility
• Maintain high standards of data integrity across reporting systems
• Support internal compliance monitoring and documentation review processes
Cross-Team Collaboration
• Work closely with care management supervisors, enrollment teams, finance leadership, and compliance staff
• Provide operational insights that help teams improve documentation, productivity, and engagement
• Assist leadership in identifying operational challenges through data analysis and reporting
What You Bring Experience & Skills• Minimum 3+ years experience in data reporting, healthcare operations, healthcare billing, or analytics
• Experience working with Medicaid programs, Health Homes, or care management programs strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Adult and/or Children’s Health Home workflows, MAPP HHTS, or care management platforms is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data reconciliation)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage and interpret large datasets
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Bachelor’s degree required in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
