POSITION TITLE: Donor Engagement Coordinator
LOCATION: Portland, ME
HOURS: Full Time, 37.5hours/week, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
UNION MEMBERSHIP: This position is represented by the MSEA union in ME
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Donor Engagement Coordinator is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding PPNNE’s Midlevel donor programs, including maintaining the flow of donors up to the Major gift program and the transition of donors from the Major gift program to Midlevel.
- Build and manage relationships with Midlevel donors by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding them to strengthen engagement and giving.
- Coordinate with the Major Gifts team to ensure appropriate identification, communication, and movement of donors between Midlevel and Major donor portfolios.
- Support donor outreach efforts through the development of solicitation materials and engagement opportunities, including events.
- Represent the organization at community and donor events to expand relationships and increase regional visibility.
- Help plan and implement donor engagement strategies and program goals in collaboration with internal teams and leadership.

- Pay Range - for this position is based on years of relevant work experience. Candidates with 1-6 years of experience can expect to earn between $24.62 - $ 27.72 per hour. As experience increases, so does the rate of pay, with candidates who have or 10 years of direct experience earning up to $30.01 per hour.

- Bachelors degree (highly preferred); 1-2 years of relevant professional work experience. or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired. Minimum educational requirements include High School Diploma/GED
- Superior written, verbal communication skills
- Must have an exceptionally professional and respectful manner in working with people of all backgrounds, including patients, donors, physicians, trustees, and staff members of all professional levels
- Must be willing to travel regionally for occasional meetings and events.
