About the job…

Star Sleep & Wellness is growing! We have 7 full time locations in Frisco, Denton, Irving Dallas, McKinney, Mansfield & Pearland. As we expand further, we are looking for dedicated, full-time nurse join our practice and support our mission of saving lives, healing relationships, and extending careers specifically in our Frisco and Dallas offices. You would rotate between the two offices Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake assessments for patients enrolling in the weight‑loss program.
  • Obtain and document vital signs at initial and follow‑up visits.
  • Use the weight/fat analysis module during first visits and subsequent progress checks.
  • Order laboratory studies (including CBC, liver enzymes, electrolytes, amylase, and protein levels) and review results with supervising physician guidance.
  • Write and send prescriptions to the pharmacy under MD direction.
  • Respond to patient calls and questions related to the program.
  • Collaborate with the care team and refer to appropriate providers when OA or PAP adjustments are needed.
  • Follow all company policies and protocols in the normal course of business.
  • Possess sound medical decision-making abilities.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to support patient care and program operations.

Additional qualifications:

  • Current RN or LVN license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred.
  • Prior experience in a weight‑loss or obesity‑medicine clinic strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient‑care skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication, patient‑interaction, and documentation skills.
  • Reliable transportation, and willingness to work in multiple locations
