Nursery Generalist

• Full-time and part-time available; weekend availability during peak seasons.
• Starting pay: $15.16 - 15.66/hr. depending on experience.
• Seasonal position, running from date of hire through approximately mid-July.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, welcoming manner.
• Answer basic questions about plants, products, and care (and connect customers with experts when needed).
• Help maintain clean, organized retail spaces and well-cared-for plants.
• Promote featured products and sales and assist with POS transactions.
• Assist with loading deliveries and planting trees, shrubs, and perennials.
• Support production tasks such as potting, unloading shipments, and grounds maintenance.
• Assist with receiving, pricing, and stocking merchandise.
• Help with basic administrative tasks and data entry.
• Provide general support across departments including Receiving, Garden Shop, Production, Delivery, Outside, and Greenhouse.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with plants or interest in horticulture.
• Previous retail or customer service experience.

Compensation and Benefits Offered
