This seasonal, full-time position comes with a strong benefits package including:

This position offers the opportunity to represent Duininck Concrete by safely transport aggregate and cement, to plant locations. Trucks driven may include semi belly dump, Tri-Dump, end dump, tandem, or quad dump trucks.

The Role:

  • Perform pre and post trip inspections pursuant to DOT regulations.
  • Safely operates assigned truck to pick up, transport, and deliver materials such aggregate and cement.
  • Secure loads for safe transport in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Works closely with other crew members during pickup and delivery to coordinate work and ensure safety.
  • Assists with loading and unloading truck as needed.
  • Ensure that truck is clean and safe, in proper working order.
  • Completes documentation for inspections and other compliance.
  • Reports to manager when truck needs maintenance and repair.
  • Maintains orderliness, cleanliness, and safety at jobsite(s).
  • Communicates with dispatch using a two-way radio and cell phones while abiding by all laws.
  • Interact with customers and employees in a professional manner.

Work Environment:

  • Localized travel required
  • Early mornings and long hours as needed
  • Occasional Saturday

What we Look For:

  • Individuals who work safely and have the courage to speak up if you see unsafe behavior or conditions.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Class A CDL, 1-3 months commercial driving experience, and up to date medical certification card.
  • MSHA Certification Preferred
  • Tanker Endorsement Preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a self-starter and the ability to communicate (verbal and written).
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • This position requires the ability to lift more than 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
