Job Overview:

The Opportunity: You will serve as a high-skill lead on residential job sites, executing complex framing and finish scopes with total autonomy. This role is designed for a self-sufficient craftsman who takes pride in "owning" a project from rough-in to final trim. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior helpers while working in a tight-knit culture that rewards integrity and precise execution.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Execute precise framing of walls, headers, and blocking to ensure structural integrity and project alignment.

• Install high-end doors, windows, and cabinetry with a focus on seamless fit and finish quality.

• Lead the installation of detailed trim, including baseboards, casing, and crown molding.

• Direct on-site helpers to maintain production speed and ensure the job site remains clean and organized.

• Identify and resolve technical site discrepancies early to prevent project delays or material waste.

• Maintain professional communication with clients by protecting home surfaces and representing company standards.

• Deliver completed scopes of work that meet high-level aesthetic and functional requirements without constant supervision.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a self-sufficient carpenter capable of running framing and finish work independently.

• Ability to accurately read and execute project plans and detailed scopes of work.

• Possession of a complete set of personal hand tools required for professional carpentry.

• Demonstrated reliability with a track record of consistent, on-time attendance.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a helper effectively on-site.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• General knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems within a residential remodeling context.

• Advanced experience in stair work or custom decking installations.

• Prior experience in a mentorship role for apprentice-level carpenters.
