About This Position
We’re seeking a motivated, community-minded intern who is passionate about public health, wellness, and making a positive impact in Cass County. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a creative problem solver, and is comfortable working with multiple partners and initiatives.
Required Education- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, education, healthcare, social services, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Strong interpersonal skills and community-relations abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience or comfort with teaching, training, marketing, and facilitating discussions
- Basic financial skills (such as budgeting, fundraising, or grant writing/reporting)
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility, reliability, and accountability in daily tasks
- Experience supporting community wellness, public health initiatives, or nonprofit programs (not required but helpful)
