You will manage auditing operations, monitor performance metrics, and implement effective quality assurance programs while collaborating closely with internal teams and coding vendors. The position involves educating stakeholders on best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement, and reporting findings to leadership. You will play a key role in developing training programs, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, and driving continuous process improvements. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote-first environment. Success in this role directly impacts operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Accountabilities:
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives for risk adjustment coding, ensuring compliance and accuracy across projects.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of coding teams and external vendors, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide expertise on coding compliance for new and existing services while adhering to organizational, federal, and state regulations.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations through presentations, reports, and educational programs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support audit processes, ensuring proper documentation of workflows and results, and identify process enhancements as needed.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs for coders and auditors, including onboarding new team members.
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on program performance, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred or equivalent 35 years of related experience with a minimum of 5 years in risk adjustment coding (ACA and MA).
  • Expert knowledge of risk adjustment methodologies, coding standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Experience managing remote operations and coordinating with distributed teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create reports, presentations, and training materials.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Commitment to quality, productivity, customer focus, and continuous process improvement.
