Grinding Machinist I-III - 2nd Shift at Daniels Manufacturing Corporation – Orlando, Florida

Set up, program, and operate machine and produce production parts to required specifications within the Grinding department.

Essential Job Functions:

• Set up, program, and run various machines
• Program trouble shooting
• Understand and select tooling
• Produce parts within required tolerances and specifications
• Strong understanding of cutter compensating
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and neat
• Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding
• Maintain simple reports such as time sheets and work orders
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong Communication Skills
• Must be able to maintain concentration
• Must be able to work while standing
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (2nd Shift)

• Minimum one to two (1-2) years’ experience of machining required
• Knowledge of Lathes, Grinding, Turning and Multi Axis machines as well as their functions required
• Must be familiar with types and names of controls such as Fanuc, Milltronics and Prototrak preferred
• Knowledge of Programming and use of G & M codes required
