About This Position
Summary
The Crew Pay Compliance Analyst is responsible for analyzing and evaluating pay data through system exports from the Crew Management System to the Crew Payroll System. These exports are used to conduct manual audits that help identify discrepancies caused by both system automation and manual process errors across departments. The Analyst collaborates with internal teams to resolve pay issues, ensure ongoing accuracy, and support compliance with contractual agreements. Serving as a subject matter expert on organizational and collective bargaining agreement (CBA) changes, the Analyst provides guidance on how these changes impact crew pay. Additionally, the Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of crew pay by delivering timely and proactive resolutions to crewmember submitted issues.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Education Details: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Years of Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience working in Crew Scheduling, Crew Pay, or other Crew related field OR Minimum four (4) years of auditing related experience.

• While primarily administrative hours, must have the availability to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends should that be necessary.

Preferred Requirements
• Knowledge of airline applications with an understanding of airline Collective Bargaining Agreements and related documentation.
• Proven ability to collect, interpret, and analyze large data sets to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Advanced proficiency in using tools such as Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas), SQL, or data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to support decision-making and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Experience with ELP Payroll software, CAE, and/or other Crew Pay/Management Systems.
• Familiarization with FAR 121 and FAR 117 operations as they pertain to crew training/scheduling operations.
Job Duties
• Process accurate and timely payroll reconciliation for Pilots and Flight Attendants in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) on a semi-monthly basis.
• Conduct daily audits to identify and resolve system and human error driven pay discrepancies, ensuring compliance and proactive issue resolution.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving crew member pay issues through timely responses to a high volume of phone calls, JIRA tickets, and emails.
• Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools and automation technologies to streamline payroll audits, identify recurring discrepancies, and enhance overall departmental efficiency; contribute to the evaluation and implementation of AI-driven solutions to reduce manual workload and improve accuracy in pay processing.
• Develop and maintain internal training documentation and procedures related to crew payroll.
• Facilitate ongoing crew member education on payroll rules and applications through videos, live Q&As, base visits, and classroom-style sessions during new hire and recurrent training events.
• Collaborate with departments including Crew Planning, Payroll, Scheduling, Inflight, Flight Operations, and Safety to ensure accurate pay, including complex pay credit authorizations.
• Partner with Labor and Contract Compliance to implement pay rule changes resulting from CBA updates or settlement agreements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the crew pay database, test and track logic changes, and support issue resolution.
• Address manual pay credit exceptions not supported by automated systems, ensuring compliance with Flight and Inflight CBA pay rules.
• Monitor, follow up, and process manual payroll adjustments in coordination with Crew Services.
• Calculate and process final pay for terminating crew members in accordance with applicable state laws through manual audits and system updates.
• Provide feedback to departments on recurring transaction errors to support continuous improvement and training.
• Conduct monthly audits to ensure accuracy of PTO, Vacation, FLEX, and Sick time balances, usage, and accruals.
• Manage and track employee payroll audit records, including repayment plans and pay credit hour deductions.
• Audit and process payroll adjustments for crew members on Leave of Absence (LOA).
• Review and adjust Fatigue-related pay based on decisions from Fatigue Review Committees.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for system deployments and updates to Tableau dashboards, Scheduling, and Crew pay tools.
• Participate in regular cross-departmental meetings to implement process improvements based on data trends, events, and audit results.
• Support Flight Operations and Inflight management by researching and resolving disputes at the preliminary level to help mitigate formal grievance filings.
• Prepare for and participate in labor negotiations, mediations, arbitration sessions, and hearings, including compiling necessary documentation and supporting materials as required.
• Communicate updates related to system or process changes that impact crew pay in a timely and clear manner.
• Analyze pay data and deliver trend reports to senior leadership to reduce errors and manual intervention year over year.
• Support Instructor pay reconciliation and assist with automation improvements.
• Lead implementation of pay rules and system automation for new scheduling and payroll platforms.
• Attend industry conferences and travel as needed to stay aligned with industry best practices.
• Model Allegiant’s customer service standards through professional interactions and team collaboration.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
