About the Role:
As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a critical role in delivering successful projects through end-to end management of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) procurement. You will own the purchasing process for assigned projects – ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with construction timelines and client expectations. Working closely with Client Delivery Managers, Project Leads, vendors, and internal teams, you’ll help keep projects on track through proactive communication, strong organization, and thoughtful problem-solving. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build, review, and place purchase orders with a high degree of accuracy
• Review acknowledgements and invoices to ensure alignment with specifications and pricing
• Maintain purchasing systems with accurate, real-time updates
• Support the accounting team to ensure timely invoice processing
• Communicate with manufacturers and suppliers regarding availability, cost changes, and product specifications
• Track supplier lead times and proactively identify potential risks to project timelines
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable sourcing and delivery
• Monitor supplier performance (KPIs) and escalate issues as needed
• Participate in weekly project review meetings with internal stakeholders
• Coordinate purchasing schedules with construction timelines and client needs
• Develop and maintain project delivery tracking reports
• Support other procurement-related tasks as assigned by the Procurement Manager
Required Skills and Experience:
• High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in FF&E purchasing or in an interior design environment
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or a client-facing role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Willingness to learn and adapt to web-based purchasing systems

Work Environment & Expectations:
• Limited travel may be required based on project needs
• Must maintain a high level of professionalism representing DE across all interactions
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and manage multiple digital systems
