This role sits at the intersection of creative leadership and production excellence, overseeing the design function that powers critical marketing and product communication materials across a multi-category industrial portfolio. You will lead a distributed team of designers responsible for producing high-volume, technically precise assets including sales collateral, product documentation, packaging, and brand materials. The position blends hands-on design oversight with team leadership, workflow optimization, and process improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring brand consistency, operational efficiency, and scalable creative systems. Operating within a fast-evolving marketing environment, you will help modernize tools, integrate AI-driven workflows, and streamline production processes. - Lead and mentor a distributed design team, ensuring strong creative output, skill development, and consistent execution across multiple time zones and workflows.
- Oversee production design operations, delivering high volumes of marketing, product, and technical materials while maintaining accuracy, speed, and brand consistency.
- Establish and optimize creative systems, including templates, workflows, intake processes, and AI-assisted design efficiencies to improve scalability.
- Ensure rigorous quality control across all design deliverables, safeguarding brand standards across packaging, sales tools, and product communications.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support campaigns, events, and cross-functional initiatives with timely and effective creative assets.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across the team, balancing priorities, resources, and deadlines without compromising quality.
- Drive continuous improvement in design operations by identifying bottlenecks, implementing process enhancements, and improving turnaround times.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- 5–7 years of professional design experience, including proven leadership or team management responsibilities.
- Strong background in B2B, manufacturing, or technical product environments with experience producing complex, detail-oriented materials.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and strong understanding of design principles, typography, and production workflows.
- Experience managing distributed or remote teams across multiple time zones.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage 20+ concurrent projects effectively.
- Strong eye for detail, brand consistency, and production accuracy.
- Effective communication and coaching skills with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
