Cental is seeking a Fit Out / Finishing Operative who will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of internal and external finishing tasks on modular units, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to specifications, and timely delivery. This includes installation of fixtures, fittings, insulation, flooring, wall linings, doors, basic carpentry, sealing, snagging, and ensuring modules meet the required aesthetic and functional standards prior to dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Install internal components such as:
• • Wall panels, insulation, plasterboard/linings
  • Flooring systems (vinyl, tiles, raised access floors)
  • Doors, frames, skirting, trims, and fixtures
  • Ceilings, lighting housings, brackets, and supports
• Carry out basic mechanical and electrical support tasks (non‑certified work), such as:
• • Routing cables under supervision
  • Fixing containment
  • Assisting qualified trades as needed
• Perform sealing, caulking, sanding, filling, and paint touch‑ups.
• Complete snag lists to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, aesthetic finish, and compliance.
• Follow all site safety standards, including PPE use and safe operating procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in fit out, carpentry, joinery, construction, or modular finishing.
• Strong practical skills with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read basic drawings, layouts, or installation guides.
• Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and high aesthetic standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment.
