Outcomes Research Director

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Outcomes Research Director in France.

This senior strategic role focuses on shaping and delivering regional evidence strategies that directly influence patient access, reimbursement, and healthcare decision-making across Mid-Europe. You will work at the intersection of health economics, outcomes research, and market access, translating global evidence strategies into actionable regional and country-level plans. The role requires close collaboration with medical affairs, market access, policy, and local affiliates to ensure evidence generation aligns with real-world healthcare needs. You will play a key role in strengthening the value proposition of both established and pipeline therapies across multiple therapeutic areas. Operating in a highly cross-functional and international environment, you will help ensure that robust scientific evidence supports optimal patient access across diverse European markets. This is a high-impact leadership role combining strategy, science, and stakeholder engagement.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the translation of global outcomes research and evidence strategies into regional and country-specific execution plans across Mid-Europe.
  • Partner with global, regional, and local stakeholders to develop integrated evidence strategies supporting market access, reimbursement, and value demonstration.
  • Assess HTA, reimbursement, and market access landscapes to identify evidence gaps, barriers, and strategic opportunities across key markets.
  • Design and support health economics, outcomes research, and real-world evidence initiatives, including studies, models, publications, and strategic tools.
  • Collaborate with country affiliates to support HTA submissions, reimbursement dossiers, and tender processes with tailored evidence packages.
  • Build and strengthen outcomes research capabilities across the region through coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing with local teams.
  • Monitor evolving scientific, methodological, and policy trends to ensure evidence strategies remain competitive and forward-looking.
  • Represent the organization in scientific forums, congresses, and publications to advance external visibility and credibility of evidence work.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in health economics, epidemiology, health sciences, or a related field; PhD strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of post-graduate experience in outcomes research, health economics, HTA, market access, or related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of European HTA, reimbursement systems, and market access frameworks across key markets.
  • Proven experience designing and executing clinical, epidemiological, or health economic studies.
  • Strong expertise in HEOR, outcomes research methodologies, and health policy evaluation.
  • Demonstrated track record of scientific publications, conference presentations, or peer-reviewed research contributions.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and ability to translate evidence into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills in an international environment.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package aligned with senior scientific leadership roles.
  • Fully remote flexibility across Europe with international collaboration opportunities.
  • High-impact role influencing patient access and healthcare decision-making across multiple markets.
  • Strong exposure to global and regional scientific, medical, and market access teams.
  • Opportunity to work on innovative therapies across cardiovascular, immunology, ophthalmology, and pipeline areas.
  • Professional development within a leading global healthcare and life sciences environment.
  • Participation in international congresses, publications, and external scientific engagements.
