The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for new patients’ smooth transition into the practice, existing patients’ ongoing orthodontic care, communication with patients during treatment, and communication with specialty offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and families, creating a friendly and supportive environment
• Present orthodontic treatment plans clearly and answer questions
• Coordinate scheduling for consultations, records, and treatment appointments
• Verify insurance benefits and explain financial options, including payment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient workflow
• Follow up with pending treatment plans and support case acceptance

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in orthodontics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and parents
• Knowledge of insurance and financing options
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
