As Director of Sales for the EMEA region, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating growth across one of the most dynamic and strategically important global markets. You will engage directly with key stakeholders such as defense ministries, naval forces, and major industry partners, driving complex sales cycles and shaping long-term procurement strategies. The position offers the chance to influence cutting-edge autonomous solutions while building and leading a regional sales function. Operating in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, you will help scale operations and secure landmark deals. - Lead and execute the regional sales strategy across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, ensuring strong pipeline development and revenue growth
- Drive complex, high-value sales engagements with navies, coast guards, defense ministries, shipyards, and prime contractors
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders across government and industry ecosystems
- Shape and navigate procurement pathways, including NATO and other defense acquisition frameworks
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of regional business development professionals
- Identify new market opportunities and position innovative autonomous solutions to meet evolving defense needs
- Close strategic deals that contribute to long-term regional expansion and market leadership
Requirements:
- 7–10 years of experience in sales within defense, maritime, or related high-technology sectors
- Proven track record of selling to navies, coast guards, ministries of defense, and major defense contractors
- Strong experience managing sales activities across the EMEA region, including in-person relationship building
- Deep understanding of defense procurement processes, including NATO frameworks
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand vessel platforms, onboard systems, and maritime technologies
- Familiarity with combat craft and small vessel markets is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and close high-value deals
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills in fast-paced, high-growth environments
