Nations Roof is one of the largest commercial roofing contractors in the United States, serving customers nationwide through more than 30 locations and over 100 service crews. Our team supports facility managers, property owners, and national account customers with roofing services including inspections, maintenance programs, repairs, and roof replacement.
Our marketing team focuses on helping customers better understand how to protect and extend the life of their roof assets through educational content, digital tools, and data-driven insights.
Internship OverviewNations Roof is seeking a Digital Marketing & AI Content Intern to help launch the Nations Roof Learning Library, a new educational content initiative designed to help facility managers and property teams better understand commercial roofing systems, maintenance, risk, and lifecycle planning.
This internship offers hands-on experience helping build a modern AI-assisted content production workflow. The intern will help create a series of short, on-demand micro-learning videos using AI tools to generate scripts, presentations, and voiceover narration.
These videos will become part of the Nations Roof Learning Library, a growing collection of educational resources available on our website and video platforms.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a real marketing initiative that supports customer education, brand authority, and long-term demand generation.
Key ResponsibilitiesAI-Assisted Educational Content Development
Support the development of micro-learning videos for the Nations Roof Learning Library by:
- Researching and organizing educational video topics
- Using AI tools to generate presentation outlines and scripts
- Preparing slide content using AI presentation tools
- Coordinating with a graphic designer to finalize slide design
- Producing narrated video presentations using AI voiceover tools
- Preparing final video assets for publishing
Learning Library Content Management
Assist with organizing and publishing the Nations Roof Learning Library by:
- Uploading and organizing videos on the company’s video platform
- Writing video descriptions and summary content
- Assisting with landing page content for educational resources
- Helping organize videos into clear learning categories and topics
Content Repurposing and Marketing Support
Help maximize the value of each educational video by creating supporting marketing content such as:
- blog article summaries
- short social media content snippets
- email promotion copy
- website resource descriptions
AI Workflow Documentation
Help document the content production process so the marketing team can scale future content, including:
- AI prompt structures for scripts and presentations
- content production steps
- publishing and distribution workflows
At the conclusion of the internship, the intern will deliver a brief presentation summarizing the results of the Learning Library project. This may include:
- Overview of the AI-assisted production workflow
- Educational videos produced during the internship
- Marketing assets created
- Engagement metrics or early performance insights
- Recommendations for expanding the Learning Library
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Strong written communication skills
- Interest in digital marketing, content creation, or marketing technology
- Curiosity about emerging AI tools used in marketing and content production
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a collaborative and remote environment
This internship provides hands-on experience launching a real marketing initiative while learning how AI tools are transforming modern content production. The intern will gain experience in:
- AI-assisted marketing workflows
- content strategy and digital marketing
- video content development
- marketing campaign analysis
By the end of the internship, the intern will have helped launch a new educational content program and built a portfolio of work demonstrating their role in creating the Nations Roof Learning Library.
