Staff Product Manager, Shared Services

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff Product Manager, Shared Services in United States.

This role is a high-impact opportunity to lead the foundational platform that underpins all product development in a fast-growing SaaS environment. The Staff Product Manager will define the roadmap, drive enterprise readiness, and enable internal product teams to move faster and more securely. You will shape critical systems such as identity, permissions, audit logging, eventing, and AI infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance for enterprise clients. The role combines technical fluency, strategic decision-making, and cross-functional leadership, with a focus on building foundational capabilities that empower the broader organization. You will collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and product teams to translate enterprise requirements into platform solutions that accelerate growth. This position offers a remote-first environment, autonomy, and the opportunity to influence the trajectory of a platform used by thousands of businesses nationwide.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the Shared Services platform roadmap, balancing near-term business impact with long-term architectural integrity
  • Drive enterprise readiness by implementing granular permissions, comprehensive audit trails, and identity infrastructure trusted by enterprise clients
  • Serve as the connective tissue across product teams, ensuring internal developers can move quickly without duplicating core infrastructure work
  • Define and measure success metrics for platform reliability, internal adoption, developer velocity, and enterprise capability delivery
  • Make build-versus-buy decisions across the platform stack, taking customer-facing capabilities through launch including pricing and go-to-market considerations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and solutions teams to align priorities and maintain a coherent platform vision

Requirements:

  • 8–10 years of product management experience, including significant time at Staff or Principal level managing shared services (auth, permissions, audit logging, eventing, AI infrastructure)
  • Strong technical fluency with authentication protocols, event-driven architectures, GraphQL, and access control models
  • Demonstrated success translating enterprise requirements into platform solutions that accelerate deals and provide competitive advantage
  • Experience building or contributing to AI infrastructure in a SaaS environment
  • Metrics-driven mindset, tracking platform adoption, reliability, developer velocity, and enterprise capability delivery
  • Proven cross-functional leadership, with the ability to influence multiple teams and maintain roadmap coherence
  • Preferred: experience with enterprise security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI), AI tools for discovery or tradeoff analysis, vertical SaaS, or multi-tenant B2B platforms

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary (approx. $141,000–$181,795 per year; higher ranges for NYC, SF Bay Area, Seattle) plus variable compensation opportunities
  • Equity participation for long-term growth potential
  • Fully remote work with monthly home office stipend
  • Flexible vacation policy and paid holidays
  • 401(k) match and comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Family planning support and specialized employee assistance programs
  • Learning and development opportunities to explore market-relevant skills and tools
  • Collaborative, inclusive culture emphasizing curiosity, ownership, and innovation
