Position Summary

As part of the PSS team and broader Tech24 network, the Senior Installation Technician plays a critical role in the installation, setup, and commissioning of commercial cooking (hot side) equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring all equipment is installed correctly, safely, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

The Senior Installer leads and supports installation projects, coordinates with customers and internal teams, and ensures jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, problem-solving in the field, and delivering a seamless installation experience while representing the company with professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

Install, set up, and commission commercial cooking equipment including ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, and related kitchen systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals to ensure proper equipment placement and functionalityEnsure all gas, electrical, and mechanical connections are completed safely and up to codeTest and verify proper operation of newly installed equipment, making adjustments as neededTroubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field to ensure successful project completionRespond to service calls in a timely and professional mannerRepresent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer serviceFollow all safety regulations and company policiesParticipate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities


Qualifications

3-5+ years of commercial foodservice installation experienceValid drivers license with a clean driving record requiredStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsExperience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plusAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprintsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditionsAbility to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quartersOwn industry standard hand toolsWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation as neededEPA Universal certification preferred


Compensation Transparency

The advertised pay range for this position is $40-$45. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications. Candidates with advanced expertise in both commercial hot-side and cold-side equipment may be considered toward the higher end of the range.
