You will shape portfolio strategy, drive commercial growth, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. The position requires a strategic, business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance product vision, investment priorities, and lifecycle management. You will influence organizational design, operational excellence, and product performance while providing executive-level insights and guidance. The Vice President of Product Management will lead portfolio strategy, commercial outcomes, and organizational alignment:
- Drive strategy and execution across a multi-product portfolio, including flagship, community/free, emerging, and newly acquired offerings.
- Develop a unified portfolio vision, ensuring each product contributes to overall growth objectives.
- Serve as a business leader, owning market performance, revenue growth, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services to optimize positioning, messaging, cross-sell, and upsell initiatives.
- Lead organizational assessment and transformation, identifying gaps in talent, structure, processes, and roles to achieve operational excellence.
- Influence through collaboration, presenting complex technical and strategic insights to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
- Ensure measurable improvements in product performance, customer adoption, and overall portfolio economics.
Candidates should bring extensive product leadership experience and strategic business acumen:
- 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or executive role.
- Proven success leading a portfolio of products across different stages (mature, community/free, emerging, and acquired).
- Demonstrated ability to drive business results, revenue growth, and commercial strategy.
- Experience collaborating with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market strategies and competitive positioning.
- Strong organizational leadership skills with a record of assessing and improving product, engineering, and service delivery teams.
- Executive presence with experience presenting to senior leadership and boards.
- Prior leadership experience at a company with $50M+ in revenue, ideally larger.
- Domain expertise in clinical data, regulatory technology, life sciences software, or related markets is a plus but not required.
