Shipping & Receiving Associate at Q-Lab Corporation – Westlake, Ohio

Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate. This position will be responsible serving as the primary point of contact for all inbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of products, materials, and supplies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all inbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of products, materials, and supplies in a fast-paced environment
• Promptly unload trucks and deliveries, verify contents against purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies with urgency and attention to detail
• Organize and store received items in designated locations, maintaining a clean, efficient, and highly organized warehouse
• Communicate clearly and proactively with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams regarding delivery status, issues, and priorities
• Manage return shipments for incorrect, damaged, or non-conforming items, ensuring timely processing and proper documentation
• Pick, pack, and ship orders using appropriate packaging methods and banding equipment, including palletizing large, heavy, or oversized items
• Verify all shipment details (item number, quantity, shipping method, and destination) to ensure complete accuracy prior to dispatch
• Prepare and complete all shipping documentation accurately and on time in coordination with the Order Desk
• Maintain accurate records by tracking all shipping transactions and documentation within the system
• Safely load high-value capital equipment onto trucks using a motorized forklift for LTL, OTR, and container shipments
• Participate in the preparation and execution of periodic cycle and physical inventory counts.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Previous warehouse or receiving experience in a fast-paced environment
• High school education
• Willing to work overtime as needed (including weekends)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to operate a motorized fork lift (~50% of the day)

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Experience working with UPS and FedEx a plus
• Lift truck experience/training
