Infusion Nurse - LPN at Cancer Partners of Nebraska – Lincoln, Nebraska

What You'll Do:
Under the supervision of an RN, you'll play a vital role in patient care by:

• Administering approved injection medications
• Reviewing lab results with patients per clinic protocols
• Monitoring and maintaining infusion access sites
• Educating patients on treatment and care
• Performing venipuncture
• Handling phone triage and contributing to patient care planning
• Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism

What We're Looking For:

• Education/Training: Licensed Practical Nurse, BLS certified
• Experience: At least 1 year in a medical office or clinical setting
• Knowledge & Skills: Strong teamwork, communication, organization, and computer skills; knowledge of HIPAA/OSHA standards; ability to stay calm and effective under pressure
• Abilities: Compassionate patient care, problem-solving, clear communication, and professional collaboration

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday through Friday
• No weekends

Physical Demands:
This role involves varied activities such as sitting, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional exposure to communicable diseases or medicinal preparations.
