The Role

Temporary-to-Hire EVS Worker – Hospital (Inglewood, CA)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25.70/hour

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Environmental Services (EVS) Worker to join our hospital team in Inglewood. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.

What It Takes To Be Successful

• 1+ years of custodial experience a plus
• Prior experience cleaning in healthcare facilities preferred
• Must be fluent in English language
