Job Description

Senior Principal Pre-sales Engineer, Product Specialist

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Principal Pre-sales Engineer, Product Specialist in United States.

This senior-level role sits at the forefront of technical pre-sales leadership, focusing on designing and validating complex, multi-product architectures for enterprise customers. You will operate as a regional technical authority within the Trust, Identity & Compliance space, helping organizations build secure, scalable, and compliant digital experiences. The role blends deep solution engineering with strategic advisory work, requiring close collaboration with sales, product, and engineering teams. You will translate sophisticated technical capabilities into clear business and architectural value for executive and technical stakeholders. Acting as a bridge between go-to-market and product development, you will influence roadmap direction and shape repeatable solution patterns. This is a high-impact, customer-facing position in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Architect and validate complex, end-to-end, multi-product solutions integrated into enterprise ecosystems across industries and geographies.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, proofs of concept, and solution validation activities to de-risk implementations.
  • Design secure-by-default architectures covering identity verification, authentication flows, fraud prevention, and compliance requirements.
  • Support compliance-driven solutions including data residency, governance, audit readiness, and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations and technical deep dives that clearly communicate architecture trade-offs and implementation strategy.
  • Act as a technical liaison between sales, product, and engineering teams to align customer needs with platform capabilities and roadmap direction.
  • Identify reusable architecture patterns and contribute to scalable solution frameworks across the organization.
  • Provide thought leadership on identity, trust, security, fraud prevention, and compliance trends.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or specialist technical consulting roles within platform or API-driven environments.
  • Proven ability to act as a regional or domain technical authority, influencing standards and mentoring peers.
  • Strong track record of designing repeatable enterprise architectures and scalable solution frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of identity systems (MFA, OAuth/OIDC, JWT), secure-by-design principles, and fraud prevention strategies.
  • Experience working with compliance, audit, and data governance requirements such as GDPR, data residency, and security controls.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, and multi-product integration across communication or identity platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for executives and engineers.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product teams on roadmap feedback, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% as required for client engagement and relationship building.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation with base salary ranging approximately from $160,500 to $222,800 depending on location, plus commissions and performance incentives.
  • Equity participation and long-term incentive opportunities.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Retirement savings plan (401k) with employer participation.
  • Generous paid time off, sick leave, parental leave, and wellness programs.
  • Fully remote-first work environment with global collaboration opportunities.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a highly technical, innovation-driven organization.
  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise clients and cutting-edge identity, security, and communications technologies.
  • Flexible work culture focused on autonomy, inclusion, and continuous learning.
