This role is a senior strategic architecture position focused on shaping how enterprise-scale Generative AI and agentic systems are designed, governed, and deployed across the organization. You will define the target-state AI architecture and establish the standards that guide responsible, scalable adoption of AI technologies. The position sits at the intersection of enterprise architecture, AI innovation, and governance, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technical execution. You will work with cutting-edge platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Microsoft AI Foundry, and M365 Copilot to build integrated AI ecosystems. A key part of your impact will be enabling secure, compliant, and production-ready AI capabilities across the enterprise. This is a highly collaborative and influential role working with engineering, data, and security stakeholders in a fast-evolving environment.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will define and guide enterprise-wide AI architecture while ensuring scalability, governance, and responsible adoption of Generative AI technologies. You will shape how AI is embedded into business and technical ecosystems and ensure alignment with regulatory and security requirements.

  • Define enterprise AI architecture strategy, target-state models, and technical standards for GenAI and agentic systems
  • Architect AI platforms using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, Microsoft AI Foundry, M365 Copilot, and third-party LLMs
  • Design frameworks for agentic systems, multi-agent orchestration, and human-in-the-loop workflows
  • Develop and govern RAG architectures and AI-ready data ecosystems including vector databases and embeddings
  • Lead Copilot extensibility design including plugins, Graph connectors, and enterprise integrations
  • Embed Responsible AI, security, privacy, and compliance controls into all architectural patterns
  • Drive architecture governance processes, standards, and review boards across enterprise initiatives
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure scalable, production-grade AI implementation
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings deep enterprise architecture experience combined with hands-on expertise in modern AI and cloud platforms. You are comfortable balancing strategic design with technical depth and cross-functional collaboration.

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or AI/ML engineering roles
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, or Microsoft AI Foundry
  • Strong experience designing cloud-native AI architectures on Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Proven track record of integrating LLM/GenAI solutions into enterprise-scale systems
  • Knowledge of M365 Copilot extensibility, including Graph API, plugins, and connectors
  • Strong understanding of Responsible AI principles, data governance, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks
  • Experience with RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector database technologies (preferred)
  • Familiarity with multi-model ecosystems (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) (preferred)
  • Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare is a plus
  • Certifications such as TOGAF or Azure Solutions Architect are advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly compensation aligned with experience and market factors
  • Opportunity to lead enterprise-wide GenAI transformation initiatives
  • Exposure to cutting-edge AI, agentic systems, and large-scale cloud architectures
  • Collaborative and innovation-driven environment with global expertise
  • Flexible remote work arrangement
  • Professional growth opportunities in advanced AI and enterprise architecture domains
  • Competitive benefits package (varies by engagement type and eligibility)
