Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
· Answer incoming phone calls and greet walk-in customers in a professional and customer-focused manner.
· Coordinate the check-in and check-out process for rental trucks and equipment.
· Maintain accurate vehicle, customer, and rental contract files.
· Perform daily yard inspections and monitor the status and availability of all rental units.
· Communicate regularly with Service Departments and Body Shops regarding vehicle readiness, repairs, and maintenance updates.
· Maintain knowledge of current customer rental rates, agreements, and billing requirements.
· Collect and track monthly mileage for contract rental vehicles to support accurate billing.
· Prepare and process daily, weekly, and monthly rental billing for all South Carolina rental customers.
· Maintain contract files in accordance with company policies and established compliance checklists.
· Communicate with customers regarding vehicle damage, repair needs, and related documentation.
Accounting & Administrative Support
· Assist with accounts receivable activities, miscellaneous customer billing, and fuel reconciliation processes.
· Maintain and monitor customer insurance certificates to ensure proper coverage and current expiration dates.
· Support overall rental operations through accurate documentation, organization, and administrative follow-up.
