Coastal Quality Construction, Inc. is a growing General Contractor based in Parma, Ohio. We are looking to bring on a Business Development Manager to head up our sales team and lead our growth. This position would be tasked with opening new doors to new clients and architects. Currently, our ideal project size would be from $750K to $5M. This team member should have an existing book of work/clients to make contact with in order to facilitate immediate bid opportunities. A background in construction and/or architecture is preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Oversees the implementation of business development strategies to heighten company profitability.
Develops new business opportunities by researching new markets that could benefit from the companys products or services.
Participates in contract negotiation with new clients to establish standards of business conduct and ensure legal compliance.
May initiate and participate in creating marketing campaigns to promote current and new services to current clients or potential clients.
Monitors industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth in existing markets or new markets that could be served by the company.
Conducts market research to determine the best way to approach potential clients or customers to increase sales.
Cultivates and/or ensures the cultivation of relationships with current customers to ensure satisfaction with products and services provided.
Creates business plans for new ventures or expanding existing ventures to increase profitability.
Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy to achieve the organizations goals.
Identifies new creative approaches to business development.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure efforts are aligned with the organizations overall mission and vision.
Contributes to the company's short- and long-range planning, identifying areas of possible growth, expansion, and new opportunities.
Participates in the acquisition analysis and due diligence on all acquisitions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, in Engineering, Architecture, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Deep understanding of construction processes and the full project lifecycle.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction-related software.
Based in or willing to relocate to the Parma, OH area.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
Professional demeanor with a clean-cut presentation.
