Warehouse Associate at Schneider – Riverside, California

Location: Riverside, CA, USA

Shift: 2nd Shift

Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday - Friday, Noon - 10:30 p.m.

Job overview:

• Manually load and unload freight that arrives and departs to and from the warehouse as a Warehouse Specialist in Riverside, CA.
• Be able to safely operate a wide variety of warehousing equipment provided by Schneider, including forklifts.
• Complete product inspecting and assembling, pallet wrapping and yard jockeying.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload freight onto and from trailers and containers.
• Operate a wide variety of warehousing equipment, including forklifts, hand trucks, RSRs, turrets, EPJs and pallet jacks.
• Perform quality checks, product inspections and product assemblies.
• Wrap pallets.
• Add stickers to freight.
• Assist with business deliveries as needed.

Skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of warehouse experience.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Able to complete paperwork within deadlines.

• Starting wages are $17.70 - $22.10 per hour based on experience.
  • Non-exempt U.S. warehouse associates working a minimum of 4 continuous hours between the hours of 4pm - 5am local time, receive a $1.00 per hour differential for hours worked or $1.00 per hour for weekend hours (Weekend hours worked between 9pm Friday - 5am Monday).
