The Role
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing, compressed air, and natural gas systems and will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, electrical systems, and HVAC systems across all Fleece Performance facilities. This role may also provide support for external facilities tasks, including grounds maintenance, snow removal, and light construction projects. All duties are performed with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, quality, and minimal operational downtime. The Facilities Maintenance Tech, diagnoses and repairs plumbing, compressed air, natural gas, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC issues quickly and effectively.

What You Will Do

• Serve as the primary technician for commercial-grade plumbing, natural gas, and compressed air systems, with a strong focus on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, air, and gas-related issues quickly and effectively.
• Assist with the installation, relocation, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Conduct commercial electrical installations, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs (up to 480V)
• Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations; maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Stay current with industry training, certifications, and emerging facility maintenance best practices.
• Collaborate closely with operations and production teams to schedule maintenance, reduce unplanned downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform general facility upkeep tasks, including painting, drywall repair, carpentry, and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Provide occasional support for fabrication, welding, or custom modification projects.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls during and outside normal business hours when required.

What It Takes:
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions; able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing, walking, bending, and climbing. Able to pass a background check.

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, including work in industrial or manufacturing environments with commercial-grade plumbing, natural gas, compressed air systems, and high-voltage electricity (up to 480V).

• Skilled with power tools, forklifts, heavy equipment, and able to read and interpret building, electrical, and plumbing diagrams.

• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to hear and respond in noisy environments.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal skills; proficient in either Microsoft Office Suite or Google Platform.

• Self-motivated, team-oriented, proactive problem-solver with an understanding of basic safety regulations and PPE requirements.

• Available for on-call rotations and able to identify value-added tools and support implementation efforts.
