CAREGIVER / CNA / HHA - Consistent Hours at Platinum Care Group – Grayslake, Illinois
About This Position
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a 60-year-old client transitioning from a care facility to a private home setting. This role primarily involves supervision, routine support, and promoting independence following an anoxic brain injury. The care structure may include live-in shifts (example: two-day live-in rotation) and supplemental agency coverage to provide flexibility. The ideal caregiver is structured, patient, and comfortable supporting a client who benefits from consistency and clear routines.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Provide attentive supervision to ensure safety within the home environment.
- Encourage independence and reinforce established daily routines.
- Offer guidance and redirection as needed while allowing the client to complete tasks independently.
- Support light daily living tasks and assist only when necessary.
- Maintain a calm, structured environment that promotes stability and confidence.
- Monitor for changes in behavior, mood, or functional ability and report updates to the care team.
- Collaborate with family caregivers and agency staff to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements
Caregiving experience preferred (CNA/HHA a plus)
