Summer 2026 Procurement Intern
Job Summary:
The Procurement Intern must maintain good relationships with the organization’s vendors and internal customers. They perform market research and basic daily tasks to get the best deals for the company and ensure timely delivery of quality products and materials.

Vendor Profile Project
The procurement intern will work with buyers to create Vendor Profiles for each vendor. They will research and compile information including location, contact information, size of company, years in business, production capabilities, machinery list, etc.

- Assisting with sourcing new suppliers, generating requests for quote, preparing purchase orders, expediting orders.
- Assisting in resolving receipt, quality, and invoice issues.
- Generating and distributing daily reports.
- Communicating between various departments in the company and with suppliers.
What you will be working on:

The procurement intern will work with buyers to create Vendor Profiles for each vendor. They will research and compile information including location, contact information, size of company, years in business, production capabilities, machinery list, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Student enrolled in a four-year degree program, majoring in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, who has completed their freshman year of college.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from both internal and external customers.
- Motivated, with the ability to perform in a team environment.
