Project Manager Lead Residential and Commercial Hardscape & Softscape Installations Job Overview
Company: Exterior Land Development.
Salary/Pay Rate: $80,000 - $90,000 per year plus Performance and Year-End Bonuses.
Location: Onsite (Wadsworth, OH).
Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.
Schedule: Monday - Friday.
Project Scope: High-end Residential and Commercial Landscaping and Hardscaping.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.
You will serve as the strategic lead for both residential and commercial divisions, overseeing the complete installation lifecycle of premier softscape and hardscape projects. This role requires a seasoned expert who can bridge the gap between design and field operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. How You Will Make an ImpactCoordinate the end-to-end installation of complex hardscape and softscape projects for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Synchronize daily communication between the design and sales teams and the field crews to ensure design intent is fully realized.
Manage detailed project schedules to ensure all residential and commercial builds progress steadily toward completion.
Direct the ordering and allocation of materials through our in-house supply company to prevent project downtime.
Supervise the logistics of field operations, including equipment transport and crew scheduling, to maximize productivity.
Resolve complex technical and logistical hurdles in the field by providing expert guidance and proactive solutions.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management specifically within the landscaping and hardscaping industry.
Proven track record of managing both residential and commercial outdoor construction installations.
Extensive experience in coordinating material procurement, crew scheduling, and cross-departmental communication.
High School Diploma or GED.
Advanced technical knowledge of both softscape (horticulture) and hardscape (structural) installation standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-value project sites simultaneously across a regional territory.
Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring field foremen and enhancing operational workflows.
