Job Description Summary
The Treasury/AP Department is responsible for cash management, liquidity planning and control, capital management, investment management, maintaining banking relationships and corporate finance. The Treasury Analyst position is responsible for ensuring daily treasury functions are completed, developing and maintaining cash planning process. Other responsibilities include interacting with banking relationships, producing reports, resolving treasury issues, assisting the accounts payable process and other duties. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, effective member of the Finance and TAP team. This position requires excellent organizational, analytical, and computer skills, and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and perform daily cash management duties which include but are not limited to processing checks, wires, transfers, ACH payments, bank reports, EOD check file and ad-hoc requests. This area of responsibility will have a high level of attention to detail with a goal of zero error rate.
- Resolve internal issues that affect the timely completion of the daily cash management duties.
- Create and distribute various treasury reports, to be utilized by senior management in critical financial decision making.
- Support the administration of bank accounts to include account maintenance issues and opening / closing accounts, monthly statements, and bank reporting via Kyriba.
- Process checks for the Properties on a weekly basis. This will include coordinating final Trial Register Reports with the Residential Property Accountants.
- Print and mail (U.S. Postal and Federal Express) property checks weekly.
- Process deposit of checks on a weekly basis (or additional times during the week, as needed) in office.
- Interact with banking partners in completion of daily treasury activities .
- Provide support for cash flows analysis to identify trends and errors in cash positioning in order to improve accuracy.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external parties with accounts payable and expense report related issues.
- Record wire disbursements in Workday
- Process EIN requests from IRS, working in partnership with the Tax and Legal group.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned providing assistance with other Treasury and Accounts Payable projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
General:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Business or related experience in treasury and accounts payable.
- 2-3 years’ treasury, accounts payable and/or accounting experience.
- May possess strong financial, analytical, organizational, and quantitative skills, and ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands and meet deadlines with a quality, accurate work product.
- Must be highly motivated, be able to work independently and possess strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Incumbent is expected to demonstrate strong ethics, strong interpersonal and communication skills to represent the interests of Enterprise both within and outside the organization.
Specific:
- Proficient with Excel and Word and ability to learn new Treasury related software and systems, as needed.
- Proficient with working in ERP systems (i.e. Workday, Yardi).
- Familiar with cash management, cash flow, capital management and cash forecasting concepts and applications.
- Able to work effectively both independently and in team environments.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
- Ability to work under stress/pressure.
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods.
