Position Summary
Delta Point Government Solutions is seeking an experienced Executive & Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board, located in Washington, D.C. The Executive & Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to senior leadership. This role is responsible for managing executive calendars, coordinating meetings and travel, tracking leadership priorities, preparing official correspondence and reports, and ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations. The position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex Outlook calendars for senior leadership, ensuring accurate scheduling, coordination of internal and external engagements, and conflict resolution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for meeting and travel logistics, including room reservations, agenda coordination, and distribution of briefing materials.
- Track, organize, and maintain leadership taskers, action items, commitments, and deliverables using approved tools to ensure visibility and timely completion.
- Monitor emerging priorities and proactively identify scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, or items requiring leadership attention.
- Draft, edit, format, and maintain correspondence, briefing materials, reports, governance packages, and official documentation with proper version control.
- Prepare weekly reports, calendars, briefing books, meeting summaries, and event materials to support informed decision-making.
- Provide executive communications support, including email triage, drafting correspondence, arranging calls, coordinating follow-ups, and preparing supporting materials.
- Coordinate with internal offices and external stakeholders to gather information, confirm deadlines, and support timely responses.
- Support the planning and execution of meetings and events ranging from small leadership sessions to larger interagency or partner engagements.
- Maintain secure and organized records, files, SharePoint content, and official documents in accordance with records management policies.
- Provide administrative support to office operations, recommend process improvements, coordinate office equipment needs, and assist with monitoring office commitments.
- Serve as backup support for other administrative staff and perform additional administrative duties as assigned, within the scope of non-inherently governmental
