What You'll Do

As a Parts Consultant, you'll be the go-to expert for helping customers and technicians get the right parts—quickly and accurately.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Staying current on new products and updates
• Answering incoming calls and providing accurate price quotes
• Assisting customers in selecting required parts
• Recommending companion parts and current specials
• Processing retail payments and securing credit authorization
• Pulling and filling orders accurately and efficiently
• Billing internal parts requests to service repair orders
• Preparing orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup
• Replenishing assigned inventory daily
• Following up on back-ordered and special-ordered parts
• Notifying customers when special orders arrive
• Monitoring out-of-stock items and alerting management when needed
• Maintaining organized records of repair orders, invoices, and estimates
• Managing will-call and back-order files
• Processing credits and verifying pricing on returns
• Tracking lost sales
• Supporting the team with additional duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• Experience in automotive or mechanical parts (preferred)
• Comfortable using computers and dealership systems
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to follow established processes and procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Some weekends required
• In-person position
