• Oversee and mentor contents crews (packers, technicians), plus any subcontractors involved in specialized cleaning services.
• Conduct detailed on-site inspections to assess damage from fire, water, mold, smoke, and bio-hazard incidents, using industry-standard software (e.g. Xactimate) to develop precise, competitive estimates.
• Prepare and submit thorough estimate reports to clients, insurance adjusters, and management, clearly outlining scope, timelines, and costs.
• Act as a liaison with insurance adjusters and clients to ensure alignment on expectations, bids, and claim processes.
• Provide hands-on support during emergency claims, coordinating rapid response and supporting smooth execution.
• Promote and ensure compliance with safety protocols, OSHA, IICRC, EPA, and local regulatory standards.
• Maintain meticulous documentation, including contents inventories, field reports, photos, and tracking systems, for restoration and insurance purposes.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain certification (e.g., IICRC, Xactimate) and encourage staff development.
• Conduct safety meetings, manage quality control, and maintain a tidy, professional work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in construction, restoration, project management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in contents restoration or related estimating/supervisory roles within the restoration industry.
• Proficiency with Xactimate (or comparable restoration estimating software).
• Strong technical knowledge of restoration processes, contents handling, hazardous materials, and insurance claim procedures.
• Leadership qualities with excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Physical capability for on-site work: lifting up to 50 lbs, ability to climb stairs, bending, and manual handling as required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Certifications (e.g. IICRC, OSHA, asbestos supervisor) are highly desirable.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Environment: Fast-paced and dynamic, tasks may include field assessments, warehouse operations, emergency response dispatch, pack-out and cleaning facilities, and client sites. Adherence to strict safety protocols and attention to detail are essential.
