Process Engineer at Insight Pest Solutions – Rexburg, Idaho

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for increasing operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability across all company locations by designing, implementing, and enforcing standardized processes. This person will document best practices, validate them in real-world conditions, and ensure adoption through training, audits, and continuous improvement systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create clearly defined SOPs through video, written, checklists and visual aids that ensure employees understand how to follow critical processes and standard practices
• Develop and maintain SOP systems, updates, changes, etc. that are easy to find and accessible.
• Capture and document best practices across field and office operations
• Partner with subject matter experts to extract and refine current processes
• Standardize how work is performed across all locations
• Validate SOPs in real-world conditions through field observation and iteration to ensure they are practical, usable, and effective
• Design and implement audit systems for key processes
• Define pass/fail criteria and scoring where appropriate
• Stay current with regulatory changes and communicate updates across the company including pesticide regulations and standards, risk management and documentation requirements

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience developing effective SOP’s
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Communications or similar degree
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve
• Understanding of flow charts
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong understanding of systems like Excel, Processing Mapping and SOP tools
• Can simplify complex work into clear, usable standards
