In this essential role, you will perform a wide range of administrative and secretarial duties that keep our hospital running smoothly. From managing phones, distributing mail, and preparing reports to coordinating files and supporting leadership staff, you’ll be the go-to person ensuring that daily operations are efficient and well-organized.
Duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining files, analyzing computer reports, and performing staff support functions to maximize the efficiency of the department's management and professional staff.

Qualifications
Education:
-
Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Experience:
-
Must have a minimum of one (1) year of office support or administrative-related experience preferably in a medical office clinic setting that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certification/Licensure:
-
You may be required to obtain a fingerprint clearance card if you work in an area that has been deemed to require one. If required to obtain, must present the actual card within 90 days of applying for a fingerprint clearance card.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must possess strong computer and data entry skills and be proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Must possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing including knowledge of basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Must have the ability to categorize data both in an electronic and hard copy format.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees within the organization.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and produce information quickly.

Must be able to deal with a variety of behaviors of individuals.

Must be able to properly prioritize tasks to meet customer requests.

Requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to effectively manage time, and quickly change tasks.

Requires ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Bilingual is preferred.

Prefer a basic understanding of medical record filing techniques.

Creativity, initiative, and independent thinking; problem-solving skills are strongly preferred.
