Sr. Software Engineer (Remote)
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you'll have a significant impact on creating and refining design systems that help internal teams deliver exceptional user experiences. Your technical expertise will ensure the development of consistent, high-quality UI components that resonate with end users. You will lead initiatives, mentor fellow engineers, and drive best practices across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our design systems and to work collaboratively with a talented engineering team.
Accountabilities- Build, maintain, and update existing shared UI components for consistency across the system.
- Advise on UI/UX best practices, ensuring functional and refined components.
- Educate engineers on UX and design system guidance.
- Support product teams by creating new shared patterns or updating guidelines.
- Drive technical direction within the team and make key decisions for the design system.
- Identify and lead technical projects to develop reliable systems.
- Mentor junior team members through reviews and knowledge-sharing activities.
- 5-8 years of industry experience in frontend engineering and design systems.
- Ability to drive complex technical initiatives independently.
- Experience in building shared UI components and developer tooling.
- Proficiency in system design and software architecture with a focus on user experience.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and frontend performance optimization.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and technical decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
