The Field Supervisor - Aeration is responsible for the daily operation of the aeration shop, diagnosis and repair of units brought to the shop by staff or clients, coordination with inside sales staff for repair/replacement quotes, fountain winterization testing and maintenance, coordination with branch manager for field service calls, shop inventory and re-supply, training service technicians, and maintaining accurate asset records within the TIGRIS software platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend training hosted by the various fountain & aeration manufacturers
• Diagnosis and repair of units brought to the shop by staff or clients
• Install and maintain fountains and aeration systems
• Perform field diagnosis and repair of fountains when a service technician is not available
• Coordinate field service technician schedules with branch managers
• Conduct maintenance of fountains in accordance with their winterization contracts
• Operate boats and service vans in various outdoor environments
• Communicate effectively with clients and staff to deliver excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate records of repair work/service performed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong work ethic with a passion for working outdoors
• Working knowledge of electric motors
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and carry on uneven terrain
• Comfortable working around waterbodies in variable weather conditions
• Must have an excellent driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screening (Drug-Free Workplace)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with fountain and aeration system installation and maintenance
• NJ or PA Pesticide Applicator license is highly preferred

Schedule:

• March – November: Field Supervisor – Aeration is expected to split time between the office, shop, and field to complete all installations and repairs in a timely manner, including completing work orders in TIGRIS’s software platform. Typically 40 – 50 hours per week.
• December – February: Field Supervisor – Aeration is expected to split time between the office and shop to complete all winter testing and repairs, including completing work orders and working with inside sales to send customer quotes and invoices. Typically 30 – 40 hours per week.
