WilliamSmith Fireplaces of SC, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Associate to support the sales team by coordinating customer communications, organizing project information, and ensuring a smooth sales process from initial inquiry through estimate and follow-up. In this role, you will work closely with sales representatives, builders, and homeowners to manage emails, schedule appointments, assist with estimates, and maintain accurate information in our systems. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, client-focused construction environment. This role will provide the opportunity to gain process and product knowledge that will lead to a Builder Sales Rep position.

Key ResponsibilitiesFollow up with customers to confirm receipt of estimates and determine if they have any questions.
Assist sales staff with customer communication to ensure timely responses and superior service.
Sort incoming emails, flagging and highlighting those that require attention from the sales staff.
Maintain organized digital records of customer communications and project-related messages.
Assist Builder Sales Rep documenting site visits, previews, and post-views, including notes and photos as needed.
Schedule appointments for both showroom consultations and field visits for sales representatives.
Coordinate with internal teams to align calendars and ensure a smooth experience for customers and sales staff.
Assist in the Sales Process ensuring effective transition to Operations
Research products and pricing to support accurate estimates and customer proposals.
Update pricing on showroom displays as needed to reflect current product and material costs.
Research potential new builders based on preliminary information provided by the sales team.
Maintain accurate records, notes, and documentation in company software and shared systems.
Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the sales department.
Prior experience in an administrative, sales support, or customer service role, preferably in construction or related industries.
Desire to grow in this position to become a Builder Sales Rep
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable working with software tools such as Striven, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and similar platforms.
Ability to learn basic estimating concepts and understand project documentation and notes.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, construction, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in sales and or supporting a sales team working in an office environment is strongly preferred.
