- Develop and manage product and component test and qualification plans.
- Oversee R&D, component, and system testing contracts and coordinate testing scope of work.
- Organize, manage, and analyze test data to identify key parameters affecting quality and reliability.
- Lead, mentor, and manage testing engineers assigned to various projects.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design test components, rigs, and experimental setups.
- Work with project managers and system engineers to align testing schedules with product milestones and requirements.
- Support supply chain activities for sourcing materials and components needed for testing.
- Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards in all test activities.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in R&D, design, testing, or operations, with at least 2 years in R&D testing or equipment reliability testing.
- Proven experience managing technical teams and test programs.
- Strong understanding of test engineering, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for technical reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to adapt in a rapidly evolving environment and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Eligible to work under relevant U.S. Department of Energy regulations (10 CFR Part 810).
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 30% as testing programs expand.
- Competitive base salary range: $150,537 - $181,683 (full range $134,964 - $211,098).
