Overview

The HR Assistant to provide critical support to our team during evenings and weekends. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely assistance for employees, including responding to email inquiries, facilitating ADP resets, and escalating urgent employee relations concerns to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the HR inbox during scheduled hours, responding to inquiries and urgent requests promptly.
  • Assist employees with ADP resets and other time-sensitive HR needs.
  • Provide support on company-observed holidays as scheduled.
  • Collaborate with human resources leadership to escalate and address urgent employee relations situations.
  • Complete assigned reporting and data review activities.
    • HR Director and/or Employee Relations Specialist will be notified for urgent ER occurrences
  • Ensure timely and professional communication with staff and management.
  • Exercise high-level of confidentiality in all human resources activities

Schedule Expectations

  • Weekends: Monitor the inbox for approximately 5-7 hours per day as scheduled.
  • Evenings: Monitor the inbox Thursdays and Friday from 5 PM - 9 PM.
  • Availability to support urgent requests on company-observed holidays.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged computer use: Ability to operate a computer, including typing and navigating digital platforms for extended periods.
  • Communication proficiency: Ability to engage in written and verbal communication using email, phone, or other assistive tools.
  • Mental focus and problem-solving: Ability to analyze information, manage multiple priorities, and respond to urgent requests in a timely manner.
  • Sedentary work: This role primarily involves sitting and working at a desk or remote workstation.
  • Visual and auditory requirements: Ability to read and interpret digital information (emails, ADP system prompts, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in HR support or administration preferred.
  • Familiarity with ADP or other HR management systems is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Access to a private and secure workspace that allows for handling confidential employee information and organizational processes
