Metergy office location is in Markham but will be moving to North York in Fall 2026!

Job ScopeAs a Credit and Collections Analyst, you will play a key role in managing the customer collections process, reviewing customer payment data, and monitoring outstanding accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication capabilities, and take a proactive approach to mitigating credit risk while maintaining positive customer relationships. The candidate will work with a high-performing team to execute collections activity across the business and create business insights to minimize credit risk. Responsiblities
  • Credit Analysis: Analyze and review financial data and customer payment behaviour to determine potential credit risk
  • Credit Operations: Execute collections activities across the business including overdue reminders, customer outreach, and account adjustments
  • Collections Management: Conduct regular review of customer data and apply analytical judgement to identify key risk areas and determine appropriate course of action
  • Account Reconciliation: Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, or deductions in collaboration with internal teams
  • Reporting and Process Improvements: Analyze customer payment trends, operational workflows, and root-cause analysis to develop insights for process improvements and automation opportunities. Track key KPIs including days sales outstanding and roll rates
  • Vendor Management: Analyze the performance of third-party vendors through qualitative and quantitative assessments against key KPIs
  • Policy Review: Review and update customer credit terms and policies as needed
  • Customer Management: Manage effective disconnection and reconnection for accounts in arrears and related administrative work
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with demonstrated analytical coursework
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization skills (VBA, PowerBI, PowerQuery)
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple workflows and collaborate cross functionally while working in a hybrid work environment
  • Organized with an ability to implement systems and processes to bring structure to a function while retaining the flexibility required to manage effectively in a business undergoing growth and change
  • Willing to display the emotional intelligence needed to influence internal and external parties, navigate ambiguity, and support effective change management a period of profound growth and change leadership
Any shown ranges reflects base salary. We offer discretionary bonus and additional benefits, including health and retirement, as part of our total rewards program.
