Primary Objectives of Position:
The Marketing Analyst will support Destination Concepts’ marketing initiatives by leveraging data to inform decisions and optimize campaign performance. This role focuses on analyzing marketing metrics, conducting market research, and providing actionable insights to improve engagement and brand visibility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with digital marketing tools.
Major Areas of Accountability:
- Strategy Development:
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and planning meetings to share insights that guide tactical decisions.
- Provide data-backed recommendations to the creative team for content direction and to the sales team for messaging alignment and campaign timing.
- Review campaign results and advise on adjustments to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Content & Brand Support:
- Ensure brand consistency across marketing materials.
- Provide input on digital content strategy based on performance data.
- Digital Marketing:
- Manage GEO, SEO, SEM, and social media strategies to increase online presence.
- Analyze website traffic and engagement metrics to optimize content and campaigns.
- Working with marketing automation platforms to build automated workflows and sequences.
- Tracking campaign performance (open rates, click-throughs, conversions) and using insights to refine future campaigns.
- Market Research & Analytics:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and audience behaviors; summarize findings for internal teams to inform creative and sales strategies.
- Evaluate emerging marketing tools and present for implementation
- Assess and recommend advertising and PR opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, creative, and operations teams to align marketing efforts with client needs.
- Support coordination with external vendors as needed.
- Operational Support & Coverage
- Provide department coverage for Senior Director, Marketing & Creative Services and Marketing Manager/Buyer as needed.
Knowledge and Skill Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 2–4years of experience in marketing strategy, preferably in events, hospitality, or destination management.
- Strong understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights) and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel or data visualization tools (Power BI) preferred.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva a plus
